Mary Simonson Clark began her professional career as an occupational therapist and later received dual graduate degrees in theology and social work community practice, which she uses as a social work adjunct professor and field instructor with Augsburg University, Minneapolis.  She and her husband attend Immanuel Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
